Where is
Patricia now?

When the landlord put the rent up, Patricia was forced to move to the other side of Sydney. At first, she was devastated but then a friend put her in touch with Anglicare who managed to place her in an affordable residential care home. After a little dip, Patricia’s health is improving. Patricia now feels loved and supported. She’s made lots of new friends at the home and she can speak to her granddaughters whenever she feels like it.

  • Patricia couldn’t bear to move, she’s close to her only friends and the shops. She wears lots of jumpers in winter and knits herself hats, scarves and gloves.
  • Patricia tried to stop taking her supplements, but the pain got too much. Now she skips lunch.
  • Patricia’s granddaughters are the light of her life and although it broke her heart to sell the pocket watch she couldn’t face not speaking to them regularly.
