Where is
Jasmine now?

For a while, Jasmine took her chances on the streets. On a few occasions she left her children with her husband while she stayed away but she was too scared he would start hitting them too.
After she was evicted from her temporary housing, she went back to sleeping in her car and that’s when Anglicare found her. Anglicare is able to help her navigate the system better and get the financial support she needs to start a new life.

  • Jasmine had no money and felt she had no option but to go back to her
    violent husband.
  • Jasmine suffered the humiliation and spared her children a soaking which could have left them ill.
  • Jasmine went back to sleeping in her car and went back to the end of the queue
    for housing.

Say NO MORE.

Yes, I Will Stand Up for Desperate People!

It’s terrible that in our often self-serving, busy and increasingly complicated world, vulnerable people are falling between the cracks.

This is not right! The people who have the least, need our help the most.

Will you stand with us to say NO MORE?

NO MORE keeping quiet about domestic violence.
NO MORE disrespect of our elderly.
NO MORE abuse of refugees.
NO MORE red tape and unfair policies for life-saving medical treatment.

We can do better, we MUST do better.

If Jasmine had found our Emergency Relief Centre and support earlier, she could have been spared the beatings and her children could have avoided the trauma of homelessness.
