Thankfully Amani and her little brother and sisters were accepted into Australia and found safety. Anglicare is helping them with counselling, English lessons and has helped to house them with a loving family.

  • Although it was terrifying to leave their life behind in Aleppo, Amani and her siblings took the brave step to make their way to Jordan.
  • Amani took the gamble with the stranger, but it didn’t pay off. He took what little money they had and he and his wife beat Amani and her little brother and sisters.
